Bulk Import
Updated over a week ago

The Bulk Import feature allows you to easily import all transactions types and Master lists (Vendors, Customers, GL Accounts, Product/Services, Class, and Locations) from the excel sheet to the accounting system. See the steps below:

Download and Prepare excel file

To import transactions or master lists, you should first download the template file. Refer to the guidelines to prepare a sheet in a specific format. Once done, you should then populate the data in the excel file in the required columns to import seamlessly.

Upload Excel File

Once your excel file is ready with the data, you need to upload the file either browse the file OR drag and drop the file. Select the sheet you want to import from the dropdown.

Resolve the Errors and Import

You will now see the import screen where Xenett port validates the data and show error flags if the mandatory field is blank or data is inappropriate. You should resolve all the flags or you may skip those flagged transactions and import the rest.

Check History page

Once you proceed with the import process, you will then be redirected to the history page. It will display if there are any errors, since you have resolved the error flags before importing, it is less likely you will see any error. The only errors that might come are from the QuickBooks side. Say, if the period is locked and you are importing the data in that period then you will get an error from the accounting system.
