In this article, we'll discuss the below:
Folder Overview
All your To-Dos and Closing To-dos have to be created inside a folder. All the folders are managed and created at the firm level; you can't have client-specific folders. For example, you are working in Client A, and you create a folder named 'Onboarding'. This folder is actually getting created at the Firm level and will be available to all clients.
Both the To-do and Close modes have different folders. In short, if you create a folder in the To-do module, it will not be seen in a Close Mode and vice-versa.
Add a new folder
You've got 2 ways to add a new folder:
Add a new folder from Settings
Go to the Settings>Templates>Folders>Add a new folder (as shown above)
While creating To-do or Closing To-do
Delete the folder
You can delete the folder from Settings>Templates>Folders. Click on the three dots next to the folder name, and you will see an option to delete.
The folder doesn't have any task associated with it; it will be deleted immediately. However, if there are any tasks, it will ask you to move those tasks to a different folder before deleting them.
Rename the folder
Go to Settings>Templates>Folders. Click on the three dots next to the folder name, and you can rename it.
