Custom Branding allows you to do the following:

  1. Host the Client Portal at your own subdomain. For example, portal.practicename.com

  2. Send emails to your client through your own email instead of notifications@xenett.com

  3. Add your practice logo to the client portal page.

  4. Add your custom image to the client portal page.

How to add Custom Domain

To set up the custom domain, you need to add CNAME details to your domain servers.

  1. On the Practice Dashboard, go to Practice Settings

  2. Click on Custom Branding, under Custom Domain add your subdomain, for example, portal.practicename.com or questions.abc.com

Here are some specific instructions for some common server hosts:


Domain status

Once you have updated your CNAME to domain name servers you'll see the status Pending or Active.

Changes in DNS (Domain Name System) are usually reflected within a few minutes; however, it may take longer, depending on the hosting provider. To get the updated status, click on the Refresh option. Once done, the status will update to Active on the screen, and you will be ready to start using your domain!


Delete your domain name

By mistake, if you've entered the wrong domain name, you have the liberty to delete it and re-enter. The Bin symbol beside your domain status does that.
